Compete against your friends or the computer in this classic card & tile board game that’s so addicting youll never want to put it down! Try to form one or two Streaqs (a Streaq is a sequence of five tiles in a row), in any direction, to win the game. Streaq is easy to learn and play, fun for beginners and challenging for experts.
Features include:
• Multiplayer: Play online against your friends, random players from around the world, or both, using Game Center!
• Single player: Play against 1 or 2 computer players
• Single player: 3 difficulty levels (easy, medium, hard)
• 2 gameplay speeds (normal, fast)
• Choose the number of Streaqs (sequence of five tiles in a row) needed to win
• Choose the number of cards dealt to each player
• 6 player/opponent colors to choose from
• Set custom names for each player
• 16 challenging achievements to complete
• Keep track of wins, losses, winning percentage, and more
• Continue your game at ANY time, no matter what the interruption
• Optimized for one-handed vertical play on any device
• And more!
A note regarding computer players: All player card draws from the draw deck are 100% random. Computer players use an advanced custom AI engine and can only see their own cards (the same as a human player). Computer players are not given any artificial advantage whatsoever.
Pros and cons of Streaq app for iPhone and iPad
Streaq app good for
Always liked playing the board game, but hated my husband saying "hurry up"! The computer player lets me take as long as I want and it hasnt beaten me yet. Haha.
Been looking for this game for awhile.
Its good, computer opponents are good, but needs Game Center multiplayer added. Being able to play turn based games online would ROCK!
4 star cuz of that! 5 star when/if multiplayer gets added.
awesome game but would be nice if some how you could play against another person instead of just computer opponents.
Some bad moments
Not a fan of the pencil trace UI, anyhoo... Game play options to improve play are extremely limited. Play field looks good, this is the high point of the presentation. Getting to the gameplay you have a promising head to head bingo game with the limitation of only being able to claim slots you have cards for. This falls flat. Player agency is close to non existent, game has too much luck. On net it feels more like a scratch ticket than a game. At the min, there should be an option to reduce suits: 3,2, even 1. This gives more player choice per card in hand. I would strongly consider offering an option to have less card ranks as well. 5-K might be better. I would also consider a means for the player to trash any number of cards in his hand so he has a way to get multiple new play choices per turn & to add some planning mechanic. To counteract that amount of player agency, maybe you add a mechanic where you can play a second card on your turn, but in a neutral color used only for BLOCKING. So Im giving this app a second star only for its potential. Dev, its up to you.
I would like the option to play multiplayer with the person next to me. You know, play together with real people - playing the same game on the same device. Why is this not even an option?
But a little difficult to play on the small screen of the gen4 iTouch. Otherwise well worth the purchase price.
I wish the game would be multiplayer so I could play with friends and family and it also favors the computer player. :P
every time I get 4 in a row, the player "computer" blocks me so I cant get 5 or will undo one of my moves. I just had 4 in a row, the computer removed my A of hearts and I put it back, they removed it again right now. Ive only one the game once. its extremely frustrating and Im pretty disappointed I wasted a dollar on his game ):
I am beginning to agree with the reviewer who states that the computer is heavily rewarded with reverses and jokers.
Twice IE Reversed then played the cars I needed to block. This happens every time I play, it is not just a 1 time thing.
